TENILLE TEAMS UP WITH LEGEND LEANN
When Dreamcatcher Artists released TENILLE ARTS’ current hit single Jealous of Myself, Billboard called it a “moody masterpiece with a classic misdirection.” Last FridayTenille released an updated version of the song featuring one of the most powerful vocalists in music – and a bona fide legend in the world of country – LEANN RIMES, now available to stream and download worldwide.
“LeAnn Rimes, The Chicks, Shania Twain and Kelly Clarkson were my idols growing up” explained Tenille. “LeAnn in particular has been a huge part of my story in country music since I was very young. One of my most viewed videos on TikTok is of me singing ‘Blue’ when I was 11 years old, and then it transitions to a full circle moment of performing it on the Opry. I am so grateful and humbled by LeAnn’s willingness to collaborate with me on this very special song. I will remember and cherish this forever”.
Written by Emily Weisband, Trevor Rosen and John Byron and produced by Nathan Chapman, Jealous of Myself is the first single released by Dreamcatcher Artists.
“As soon as Tenille invited me to join her on ‘Jealous of Myself,’ I had to say yes” added LeAnn. “The song and Tenille’s vocals are stunning. It’s an honor to collaborate with any artist that is as talented as Tenille, but after she shared her journey in music with me and how much I have influenced her, it made this opportunity even more special”.
A life-long fan of LeAnn, Tenille saw her perform Blue on the Grand Ole Opry when she was a youngster. The appearance created a spark for Tenille’s dream of following in the superstar’s footsteps. The video of Tenille singing the hit song at age eleven and transitioning into her own recent Opry appearance became one of her most popular TikTok moments. In a full-circle moment LeAnn invited Tenille to perform Blue at her sold-out Ryman Auditorium concert on Saturday night.
Born and raised in the small prairie town of Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Tenille Arts picked up the guitar and penned her first song at age thirteen, and has been performing non-stop ever since. Her critically-acclaimed Love, Heartbreak, & Everything In Between album yielded her first #1 single, Somebody Like That, which was also certified platinum. The single made history as the first #1 country song written, produced and performed by all females.
Her Girl To Girl album was released October 22, 2021, with her Back Then, Right Now single being her first to be released simultaneously in Canada and the U.S. In 2022, Tenille was nominated by the ACM Awards for New Female Artist of the Year, the iHeartRadio Music Awards for Best New Country Artist, the CMT Music Awards for Female Video and Breakthrough Video of the Year, and she won the AIMP 2022 Rising Artist-Writer of the Year Award.
Tenille has made an unprecedented three appearances performing original songs on the top-rated ABC TV show The Bachelor and has performed on the TODAY Show, Kelly Clarkson Show and more. She opened Lady A’s nationwide What A Song Can Do Tour, Scotty McCreery’s Same Truck Tour in the US and Europe, opened for Luke Combs as part of C2C in London and Glasgow and opened Jordan Davis’ Buy Dirt Tour. She just returned from her third appearance at C2C and will hit the road with Lee Brice through April.

NEW KELLY CLARKSON ALBUM ON THE WAY
Grammy-winning global superstar KELLY CLARKSON has unveiled double singles mine / me (lower-case titles), the first taste of her highly anticipated tenth studio album chemistry [also lower-case], arriving June 23rd and available for pre-order now via Atlantic Records.
“Having chemistry with someone is an incredible, and overwhelming, feeling”, shares the artist herself. “It’s like you have no choice in the matter. You are just drawn to each other. This can be good and bad. This album takes you down every path that chemistry could lead you down.”
The pair of songs perfectly compliment and contrast, showcasing the lyrical complexity featured on the project three years in the making. Soaring vocals and a mounting instrumental find Clarkson lyrically honest-as-ever on mine, chanting “go ahead and break my heart, that’s fine” before craving karmic retribution. Meanwhile the focus shifts inward on me, a triumphant anthem of self-empowerment co-written with Grammy-nominated rising star GAYLE, and culminating with the lyric “don’t need to need somebody when I’ve got me”, the song’s message proves equally intimate and universal.
“We decided to release ‘mine’ and ‘me’ at the same time because I didn’t want to release just one song to represent an entire album, or relationship”, reveals Clarkson, continuing, “There are many stages of grief and loss on this album. Each song is a different stage and emotional state.”
chemistry was first announced last month alongside an exclusive Las Vegas engagement, chemistry…an intimate night with Kelly Clarkson, opening Friday, July 28, 2023 at Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Designed exclusively for the Bakkt Theater stage, Clarkson and her long-time band will immerse fans in an intimate music experience that spans her two-decade long catalogue of award-winning hits.
One of the most popular artists of this era, Kelly Clarkson has sold more than twenty-five million albums and forty million singles worldwide. The Texas-born singer-songwriter first came to fame in 2002 as the winner of the inaugural season of American Idol and quickly became one of pop’s top singles artists, in addition to the first artist to top each of Billboard’s pop, adult contemporary, country and dance charts.
chemistry marks her tenth studio album and third full-length release with Atlantic Records, following 2017’s Meaning of Life and 2021’s When Christmas Comes Around….
Meanwhile on the small screen, her multi-Emmy Award-winning daytime talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, is currently filming its 4th season (while already picked up through 2025), and her tenure as multi-season champion coach on The Voice resumes for the show’s current 23rd season (alongside our own Niall Horan).
~ mine and me, the new singles from KELLY CLARKSON, are OUT NOW. Her new album, chemistry, drops June 23rd.
